Install on Windows
Overview
Installing Identrix on Windows is quick and simple. Since Identrix runs as a standalone application, no traditional installation is required. Just extract the downloaded archive and run the application.
Step 1: Download Identrix
If you haven’t downloaded Identrix yet, get the latest version here:
Step 2: Extract the Archive
- Locate the downloaded Identrix archive (e.g.,
Identrix-Windows.zip). - Right-click the file and select Extract All….
- Choose a location where you want to store Identrix (e.g.,
C:\Identrix). - Click Extract to unpack the files.
Step 3: Running Identrix
- Identrix backend is a console application.
- Running it the first is easiest from the commandline
- Refer to the options and running it Running Identrix
- Later you can configure Identrix to startup automatically
Identrix is now ready to use!
Step 4: First-Time Windows security Setup (Optional)
- If Windows prompts a security warning, click Run Anyway (Identrix is safe to use).
- If needed, adjust permissions by right-clicking
Identrix.exe, selecting Properties, and checking Unblock under Security.
Basic extraction / installation is now finished. Please choose your next steps.

Connect a scanner:
Once you have installed Identrix, you can connect to a scanner using the Connect a Scanner guide.
First Time Setup:
After installation, proceed to the First Time Setup to configure Identrix and start using it for your identity document processing needs.
Running Identrix:
Once you have completed the first time setup, you can start Identrix using the Running Identrix guide.
